The Red Hell of Jupiter by Paul Ernst (1899-1902 - 1983-1985).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-red-hell-of-jupiter-by-paul-ernst/
What is the mystery centered in Jupiter's famous "Red Spot"? Two fighting Earthmen, caught by the "Pipe-men" like their vanished comrades, soon find out! ( Original text)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/30214.html
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

edit: Is there some question about his birth and death years and do you wish to advertise for a DPL? Let me know if any changes are needed.

The dates are the ones already in the system, so I guess there is. Weird. I’m open to any PL.

Hey, love SF, which is what originally alerted me to LV, then got hooked. Recently did DPL for a couple of SF solos, and would enjoy taking this journey with you. Let me know.

Great! I'll get to these just as soon as I can. Big family birthday this weekend, but I should find some listening time.

Ah, got some quiet time this evening and needed a break from editing.
I admire your skilled and flawless reading! It was a lot of fun listening to this classic SF tale.
If you ever need a DPL for a future solo, let me know.

All chapters are PL OK, and ready for the catalog.

Just need some titles in the MW and then we can catalog this one.
