Saint Edmund Campion, S.J., (1540 – 1581) was an English Catholic Jesuit priest and martyr. While conducting an underground ministry to the persecuted Catholics of Elizabethan England, Campion was arrested by priest hunters. Convicted of high treason, he was hanged, drawn and quartered at Tyburn. Campion was beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1886 and canonised in 1970 by Pope Paul VI as one of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales. (Temporary summary)

     Channels: 1 (Mono)
     Bit Rate: 128 kbps
     Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz
  7. DURING recording:
     No more than 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning of the recording!
     Make sure you add this to the beginning of your recording:
     START of recording (Intro)

     Need noise-cleaning?
     Listen to your file through headphones. If you can hear some constant background noise (hiss/buzz), you may want to clean it up a bit. The latest version of Audacity is recommended for noise-cleaning. See this LibriVox wiki page for a complete guide.

I would like to claim chapter 5 - The Call to Come Up Higher.
One question (I am quite new), there are several quotes throughout this chapter. When reading, am I supposed to say "quote" and "end quote," or just try to make it clear with inflection where the quotes begin and end?

Also, since this is your first recording, we ask that you send in a 1-minute test recording. This is not an audition, it's just to make sure the sound quality and the recording settings are all right - often things can be improved at the outset that are difficult to fix later. As for the quotes, there is no hard and fast rule. It is generally left up to the reader. Personally I would prefer on something short - one or two words - just handle it with your voice. I don't have to much preference with the longer quotes, whatever way you think sounds better with the text is fine with me.
