Hi and welcome to librivox!

You are welcome to participate in this project. I have signed you up, your personal catalog page is here https://librivox.org/reader/13230

Please also complete the one minute test before getting started! This is not an audition but just a way for us to make sure that your technical settings are in order. Thank you!

Well, I've recovered from the computer crash, but the latest backup I had was about a year old. As a result, I didn't have Audacity or Checker, etc. and I was slowed down. I have *finally* re-uploaded chapter 1 --

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/orations5_01_various_128kb.mp3

This version has the missing "Begin Footnote" and "End Footnote". There's a mismatch in audio "tone" between "Begin Footnote" and the surrounding reading as one might expect given the history of this recording.

Thank you!

Two things: your section is section 17, not 3. This needs editing in the file name and in the intro / outro.
And secondly, how long is the recording (mm.ss)? Please remember to always post the duration of a recording when you post a link so that i can update the magic window :)

Also, i listened to a small piece of your recording while shuffling section 3 back into its place, and i would like to compliment your sound quality  sounds very good!

I did not do the actual proof listening, aniroo will give you feedback shortly

Hi,

Sorry for the goof-ups. Here is an edited file with changes. Let me know if there is anything else I need to clean-up/change. Thanks!

I would be interested in reading section 13 if possible. I am a new reader, and if possible I would like to be listed in the catalogue under the name Jonathan Reed. I don't have a personal blog or website at the moment.

Thank You,
Jonathan
