Just been formatting the script for Luiz.
Yes, it is a little confusing at points, especially who is included in the "ALL" lines. And, yes, this is way above my editing skill level. I'm not at all familiar with the piece, either. Looks as if Luiz has quite a bit in Act I, but just pops in at the end of Act II. That is one place where there a "ALL" lines that don't seem to include Luiz who is there. So, it must be "all others." I'll try to get this recorded soon.

Hi,
I'd be glad to take Antonio/Annibale. Looking over the script, it looks like one small chorus of two stanzas and 1 or 2 other lines.
Thanks
Aaron

Great! Glad to have you!
It's actually quite a substantial part, as you do all the ALL and CHORUS and MEN parts in both acts. If in doubt, read it in!
And please don't say "etc" repeat the whole line as if you were singing it.

Okay, just to clarify. Anytime I see, Antonio, Annibale, All, Chorus, or Men, I should read the part? Because, I see that the other open part is also for male chorus...
Also, if I see, Etc... on a song, I should repeat the last line again. Right?
Aaron
Yes, read all the lines! The other role for male chorus will be the same, so with two voices I hope to create a "chorus" sound and yet still have the words clear enough to be understood.

Okay - here is my go at it.
Act 1 - https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/gondoliers_antoniochorus_1.mp3
Act 2 - https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/gondoliers_annibalechorus_2.mp3
I hope my file names are okay. I didn't read every chorus as some were obviously for only the Chorus of Girls. Same for All lines that only included some of the cast. I think I got all the right lines.... It was kinda fun to read! I liked it.
But let me know if anything should be improved or if I missed something or you don't like my cadence or - whatever, I'd be glad to correct.
Thanks
Aaron
Can you put me down for Francesco/Giorgio?
Thanks Mark, and I'd love to accept your offer for editing also!

Hello! My parts are recorded and being edited. They may be a day or two late if that’s okay. I apologize!

just jumping in to say that section 14 (which is blank) is marked as 'open' when it should be deleted - also, the title of this forum should be changed to FULL

Giorgio does have one line in Act I.

No that's deliberate - I find an extra empty section helps me keep the parts which are still being worked on visually separate from the ones which are complete. You'll see I've done the same thing in the Railway Children project. The truly extra sections are all at the bottom.leanneyauyau wrote: ↑March 30th, 2019, 1:43 am just jumping in to say that section 14 (which is blank) is marked as 'open' when it should be deleted

I'm also checking in to say my files are recorded, but I'll need a bit more time to edit.
