 excellent, I love it when even minor roles really get a life and there's thought going into the character. Love the accent too and it fits well with what Sandra came up with as 2nd prisoner.

All PL ok, Benni, congrats to your first drama role. Hopefully many more to come. have a look around, there are still some open roles in our other plays ;)

Thanks

Latine from Act 2, 2:23. https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_latine_2_128kb.mp3 (I remembered the "128kb" in the file name this time.)

I've reduced the pauses between lines to 4-5 seconds (instead of 6-7).

Sneak preview is at https://instaud.io/3sbl

yes 4-5 seconds is fully enough

excellent job on Latine so far, Lex ! My favourite sentence here was “don’t lay it on so thick” mumbled between pressed lips  wonderful. And I already heard Tomas (your dialogue partner for most of the scenes) and you will sound great together. :9: I simply knew it !

Looking forward to the rest...I believe we have a short scene together as well in the next act.

Thank you, both acts PL ok.

That means, Acts 1 and 2 are ready to be fully assembled :D (bar Alan's missing voice credit)

I started at the beginning, since it's only the voice credits that's missing to be complete.

I noticed that the intro now is quite long compared to our other plays...10 minutes until the real play starts. :?

As to the act proper, it's wonderfully assembled. The dialogues are excellently paced and you make people cut each other off just at the right time. I don't think we need to change anything. It's really a great start in the play.

For the voice credits, I was a bit surprised that so many were missing, because we actually have all the files, except for Alan's Leveridge.

Here are the spots and links where you can insert the credits:

> at 8:43: voice credit for Simon: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_simon_2.mp3
> at 8:59: voice credit for Betty: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_betty_2_128kb.mp3
> at 9:11: voice credit for Constable: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_constable_4_128kb.mp3
> at 9:20: voice credit for 1st Prisoner: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_1stprisoner_4_128kb.mp3
> at 9:24: voice credit for 2nd Prisoner: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_2ndprisoner_4_128kb.mp3
> at 9:29: voice credit for Turnkey: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_turnkey_4_128kb.mp3
> at 9:38: voice credit for Gaoler: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_goaler_5_128kb.mp3
> at about 9:41: and finally missing voice credits for two other small roles that are already in:
Chair man: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_chairman_3_128kb.mp3
Servant: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/lyinglover_servamt_2_128kb.mp3
and of course Alan's Leveridge, which is not in yet.

 wonderful job. I especially loved the jealousy scene between Penelope and Lovemore. She so calm and he so exploding  makes for a great contrast. Another favourite is father and son Bookwit speaking, again great contrast in character as well.

The whole act is brilliant. Love it ! And it's PL ok, nothing to note down.

Great editing job again, Todd. :)

Glad you like it. I have added all the voice credits to Act 1 and uploaded a new draft, but it is still missing Leveridge's credit.

Thanks, Todd

You're not yet off the hook for the Constable though, this guy has a few more lines after you stopped ;)

> at about 0:30: please add the following three quotes:

"Sir, what were you running so fast for? There's a man killed in the Garden, and you're a fine gentleman, and it must be you—for good honest people only beat one another——"

"Hands off, rascals, you said just now—do you know what a constable is?"

"Come, come, I find they are desperate fellows; we'll to the justice, and commit 'em immediately. I'll teach rascals to speak high-treason against a petty constable——"
Had this one sitting around and didn't get it uploaded, but here is the corrected file:
