Sorry about the lack of updates. Just started a new job and a little overwhelmed this week. I’ll take care of all of this whenever I get a chance tonight.

Whew! Thanks for covering for me, Anne. :-)

Starting a new job is hard work (especially when you're still finishing up your old job at the same time!).

Hurray! That's great to hear! Thank you so much. :-)

The instructions for how to upload your file can be found in the initial post of every project, but I'll copy-paste the pertinent information below for you to follow:

Please remember to check this thread frequently for updates!
[*]AFTER recording
Need noise-cleaning?
Listen to your file through headphones. If you can hear some constant background noise (hiss/buzz), you may want to clean it up a bit. The latest version of Audacity is recommended for noise-cleaning. See this LibriVox wiki page for a complete guide.
Save files as
128 kbps MP3
prisonmemoirsanarchist_##_berkman_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case) where ## is the section number (e.g. prisonmemoirsanarchist_01_berkman_128kb.mp3)

Please ignore tags for Genre and Track Number - these will be filled in automatically at the cataloguing stage.
Transfer of files (completed recordings) Please always post in this forum thread when you've sent a file. Also, post the length of the recording (file duration: mm:ss) together with the link.
  • Upload your file with the LibriVox Uploader: https://librivox.org/login/uploader
    Image
(If you have trouble reading the image above, please message an admin)
  • You'll need to select the MC, which for this project is: Annise
  • When your upload is complete, you will receive a link - please post it in this thread.
  • If this doesn't work, or you have questions, please check our How To Send Your Recording wiki page.

Hi Andrew! This sounds great! A really wonderful recording. :-)

One thing though -- the file name is wrong. It should be

prisonmemoirsanarchist_43_berkman_128kb.mp3

and not Prison_Memoirs_Section_43.mp3.

Would you mind renaming the file and uploading it again? Our DPL should be able to give it a more thorough listen when she gets a chance to check for any recording errors or what have you. Thanks again for helping us out!

Hi ChuckW,

Sorry about the mixup. I just renamed the file and uploaded it again. Please let me know if I did it properly or if I made any other mistakes. Thanks!

My apologies for the tardiness of my PL'ing! Real life has been pretty hectic. I'll get things caught up within the next week.
