This is a very lively and passionate narration, Skweeky. A great first attempt as a new reader.
I found a few minor corrections that should be made before PL OK status.
After the Librivox disclaimer and before the start of the first passage, the title of the story and its author must be stated. In this case for section 12 it’s, “The Key of the Study, part 1, by W.J. Prowse”.
02:17, pg.202: “Once only” is being referred to as “Only once”.
04:44, pg.204: The word “since” has been excluded from “and there had since been only one heavy cloud upon him”.
You mentioned that there were some hacked in sections of narration and while in some areas of a passage it can be noticed that it was recorded at different times, it’s not jarring and there’s no instance where it interferes with the overall understanding of the passage.
