Thanks, Scotty. I also echo Sonia's sentiment that you need not think you're overdoing it. I reckon when this was staged, practically everyone was hamming it up double time. The more ham, the funnier it was for audiences. No harm in paying tribute to that spirit.
Sonia, I've swapped the Dramatis Personae with the Prologue in Act 1, as per your suggestion. It should be okay now.
I'll be piecing together Act 2 during the next few days. It's a longer act than Act 1, so it will take some time.

Thanks, Tomas. This is really a funnier play than I expected and a lot of fun to read. I may need a little more practice to get to ham level though. I feel more in the spam stage. I wonder how an audience would feel about spamming it up?

> at 3:06: sorry, you forgot to include "scene: London" after the DP. That bit is now between Prologue and Act 1 and doesn't sound good there. Could you move that to the front as well please, to : so at 1:19 after the narrator.WiltedScribe wrote: ↑March 18th, 2019, 3:19 pmSonia, I've swapped the Dramatis Personae with the Prologue in Act 1, as per your suggestion. oh no, you are a natural This act was a brilliant performance. I especially loved when you aped the missus' "dear bud".
Pinchwife's exasperation is reaching unknown levels here. You walk an extremely tight line between "nasty bastard" and "abused fool" and you manage it marvelously Pinchwife is not an easy role to pull but I can honestly say, you really own it !
PL ok
Thanks, looking forward to the rest

Oh, that was intentional. Since the DP directly precedes the first act in the Gutenberg script, I thought it made more sense to set the scene right before the play begins, since the prologue is not being spoken by any of the characters. But I guess I can move it before the prologue if it makes more sense.

hmm, well it's your call in the end. But my main point of moving it all before the prologue was so there was no interruption. And the scene is also an interruption.WiltedScribe wrote: ↑March 19th, 2019, 7:27 amOh, that was intentional. It's ok for me if it is for you. I don't mind either way. We can also mark it PL ok.

Hmm, I don't mind changing it LOL. If it sounds better without interruption, then I take your word for it. I'll do the edit in a few hours, when I'm back home.

Pinchwife-4 (I may be working out subconscious anger issues with this) will take at least 17 minutes to PL

Thank you Sonia for all the positivity It may be my own character flaw to appreciate it so much, but I do! You really go above and beyond PLing in bolstering confidence!

thank you Tomas
Sonia
woooo, this was a long part but wonderfully played out. Especially this initial letter-dictating scene. I thought at any moment you may pop an aneurysm from outrage. Pinchwife is really obsessed with cuckoldry, I believe that's all he can ever think about.
This was brilliant ! And all PL ok. Thank you so much !
well you guys put in all the effort and talent for making these plays so wonderful, so the least I can do is encourage and praise a job well done.Thank you Sonia for all the positivity It may be my own character flaw to appreciate it so much, but I do! And I definitely hope my feedback will incite you to play in more drama from now on.

Haha, I had the exact thoughts after that one. I imaging Pinchwife habitually on the verge of popping a blood vessel in his temple And I was thinking that I do not believe I have ever said the word "cuckold" before and now I've said it a lifetime's worth!
