Sections 56, 57, 58 and 61 are PL OK. Thank you, Elijah.

I'll get to section 95 when my phone has been re-charged. I've been delighted and amused by the sounds of wind chimes, canaries, a motorcycle (I think) and my own cats in Librivox recordings. I'm pleasantly anticipating the cockatoos.

Edit: Section 95 is PL OK. Thank you, Sophia. I didn't notice any bird sounds. You must have found a quiet few minutes or removed them well.

Thanks for your recording!

Before I post this for proof listening, there are just a few things I would like you to do.

First, the volume is too low. It measures only 85.4 dB. The acceptable range is 86-92 with 89 dB as our target. If you are using Audacity, this is easy to do. Just use the Amplifcation function in the Effect menu and set it for plus 3.6.

Second, the ending silence should be close to 5 seconds, and you have only about 2 seconds. There is also some bump sound there to cut out. Then you can copy and paste enough of the silence to make it 5 seconds.

Then, when you upload the file again, using the same name, post a note here again and please include the file length in minutes:seconds.

The sample of your recording that I listened too sounded good!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Section 29 is PL OK. Thank you, Larry. No need to rush very hard as I won't be able to get to mine till the week before Easter; in all of my parents' rambling house there is no where suitable for recording. Good news, my throat and chest phlegm conditions are mending. While jet lag was keeping me awake in the small hours of this morning, I turned on my phone in bed, found and proofed section 70. The reading sounded PL OK, but I suspected the insufficient silence at the end though I'd let the screen darken and couldn't get the visual back on time to be sure, nor could I fast-forward to just check the end on the phone, so I and waited to get on the computer after day break and saw your message about it. If you catch his re-upload before I do and find it acceptable, you can put it in as PL OK.

How did it get so late so soon?
It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?

Good!
Thanks for working on this. Still could use some noise reduction, but good enough for proof listening.
We'll have a report for you soon.

A short chapter, one that I treasure. So many times I have offered and taken the supper at the table.
