I am looking for a new project, and wondered about the following. It is the only etext of this writer I can find.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lzlpludpgtl6l4i/The%20Death%20Mask%20and%20Other%20Ghosts%20-%20Douglas%2C%20Theo.epub?dl=0

Any advice gratefully received.

That text won't work. It has to be either a scan or some source that we can be certain is still PD and didn't change anything. (Such as Project Gutenberg.)

Apparently, Theo Douglas was the pen name of Mrs. H D Everett, which might be why you had a hard time finding it. Here it is on archive:

(I didn't even notice the subject title of this thread until now. So I guess you already knew about the pen name thing!)
