Thank you!
I think I may have said the wrong chapter number - the Secret of Power chapter is yours, as claimed.

Hey, I've recorded the first chapter in this book! Here it is, and very topical for today too! I just got off a Facebook "tiff" to take a break and edited this chapter...

Section 15 is PL OK. Yet another lovely reading, Beth.

You might enjoy the project a bunch of us usual suspects for this kind of work have just finished, "The Story of John Wesley Told To Boys and Girls." viewtopic.php?f=16&t=71504&start=180 If you don't have time to listen to the entire book, chapter 26 https://ia801509.us.archive.org/6/items/story_john_wesley_1902_librivox/storyjohnwesley_26_kirlew_128kb.mp3 , that fell to me by being orphaned after I had relinquished a chapter someone asked for failing to see my previous claim on it, is particularly charming and faith building. The experience of it coming my way after giving way on something I'd wanted, because I wanted there to be more of my voice in this work to motivate listening by a friend whose faith could use strengthening, has been a wonderful confirmation of God's working for good when we cease striving in our own wisdom and allow him to work his will. If my friend only listens to the two chapters I recorded, he will hear a much more stirring, faith strengthening true story--that stands quite well alone--than the one I let go. Our God is wise and good. :D

Larry, I meant to tell you the above, too, but just didn't get around to it before that project closed.

Yes, I would suggest Chapter 9 or 10 as being a good choice for a beginner. Please do your 1 minute test and then confirm your chapter claim.

High time to get to work on this one!

Here are the first two sections.
Great testimony from Brengle in the introduction.

Looking at the March Clean-up, I realize I need to prioritize my efforts and do those things that matter to me the most.

So, may I also take sections 3-5?

Section 00 is Pl OK.

Section 01: At 4:35 through about 4:38 there remains a fumbled start "Yes all you say...again" before your restart "Yes, all you say..." at 4:39. I think the first attempt needs to be trimmed out. :)

Yep, I was too tired when I edited that.
Thanks for the good PL.

I'll be in flight or jet lagged and busy with family reunion for the next two to three days, so anything uploaded during that time will have to wait a little while.

Just when you can! This project isn't fully claimed yet, so there's no rush. I'll upload Ch 17 later today (I'm about halfway through editing it) but it can sit in the MW until you are ready.

No hurry on PL :)

This is really a very foundational chapter.
When I finish my other two chapters, I'll probably claim some more if they are still open.
This was on my personal "someday" list to solo. It's a long list, but I seem to get so wrapped up in group projects, which I thoroughly enjoy, that I never get to my solo list.

I'm totally with you on that. I feel kind of bad for not making faster progress on my current solo. It's been running for over a year now. But I keep seeing plays and DRs and other group readings that I just can't resist!
