Hello EndyWright, and welcome to Librivox!

Since this will be your first recording, we ask you to please do the 1-minute test (https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test). This is to make sure your file will be within the technical specifications for Librivox. Also, to assign you the section, we need to know under which name or pseudonym you would like to be credited in the catalog.

Hi , just a few PL notes. Nicely read.

All the other sections I've listened to included the Biographical notes about the author that precede the selection itself. So you would read that short section about Emillia Flygare Carlene before you read about the smugglers. You can record it and cut/paste it into the beginning.

At 6:47 I heard the word "correction" and then the repetition of the ""exclaimed the worthy descendant."

Towards the end of the section the volume fluctuated quite a bit in some places. ex. @9:30-9:45 "worth of the inspiration is very quiet and at 10:00 the volume dips and again at 10:45. If you just highlight those sections, you can amplify them a little to bring them up to the volume of the rest of the file. It looks like those sections might be edits. You can see the difference in wavelength in Audacity.

Be sure to post the new time when you post the corrected file.

Hello,
I have edited section 17 by your mentioned specifications.

Oops on myself for not catching the information about the author, it is there now. Please do let me know if my placement of it is not quite where it should be.

I did amplify those areas though they are not a voice speaking area so that may be the reason why they were sounding a bit more quiet. Yet, I did still amplify them by +2.0

I am willing to make changes to this file, just let me know please.
April
