Hi kyle, welcome to librivox!Needle wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2019, 4:57 pm Hello,
I am new to librivox and want to help out as a PL. I read through the instructions and FAQ. I see the links in the magic window for me to listen to, but it is unclear to me how I should submit any corrections I find. How should I go about it?
Thank you
Kyle

Thanks, I missed where it said to post the corrections in the thread the first time through. Looks like you are up to date now, but I will help out if I see anyone post additional recordings.Carolin wrote: ↑March 4th, 2019, 9:22 amHi kyle, welcome to librivox!Needle wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2019, 4:57 pm Hello,

Great! There are also a bunch of other projects that need help proof listening. You can find them over in listeners wanted!

Hi and welcome to librivox!
Great that you want to help out by listening! Did you see our frequently asked questions? viewtopic.php?f=21&t=17680 these tell you the basics
If you dont want to commit to being a dpl straight away, thats fine! Just look for a project that does nkt yet have a dpl. You can find them by looking at the title of the project thread. If it starts with a ~, there is no dpl! Usually - sometimes the book coordinator forgets to take that symbol out. If you are unsure, you can post in the thread to ask.
If a project does not have a dpl, but it does have sections waiting for proof listening, you can help the project by listening, and posting your notes in the thread
Let us know if it works! Thank you!

Sorry, this didn't seem to post before.
Hi,
I would like to proof listen a few things, not be dpl. I have read everything and have started to listen.
Is this all ok?
Thanks

section 0 and 18 are all good! thanks
Thank you!
Sections 0 and 18 had already been listened to by someone else and marked pl ok. To make sure your work does not go to waste, make sure to pick a section that says "ready for pl" and check the last few posts in the thread to make sure that the file hasnt already been listened to though this does not yet appear in the magic window. Thank you!
