- At about 0:34, you read "Timothy Thomas Fortune" twice. I suppose the first one was the text printed under the photograph and the second one was actually the beginning of the paper. However, it sounds odd to have it repeated like that, and since we generally skip illustration captions, we can just treat the name like one of them. So just cut out one of these. Also, the very next words, "the subject of this sketch," are missing from your recording.
- At the break between the sketch and the paper itself, about 4:26, you left a very long pause, about five seconds. I think it would be better to trim this down to two seconds or so. Five seconds feels like an eternity in this kind of recording, and makes it sound like either the section is over, or something is going wrong.

I left it out because it took it as a reference to the picture. You want it in?mightyfelix wrote: ↑February 20th, 2019, 10:20 pm Also, the very next words, "the subject of this sketch," are missing from your recording.

Ah, I see! I can understand why you'd think that. But yes, I'd like it included. Sketch can also mean a description of a person or event, not just a drawing. Here's definition 3 from dictionary.com: "a brief or hasty outline of facts, occurrences, etc." So "sketch" here actually refers to the quick biography given before the topic discussion begins.

Well, this is another project that has been on my watch list, but if I don't put in some claims, I'll never get something read, so could you put me in for the following? 67-71,81-83

Wow, thanks so much, everyone! I think I have the MW entirely up to date. Please let me know if I'm missing something. As for PLs, I'm usually able to get a whole slew of them done on Thursdays because I get the day to myself, but this week I have to work. So it may be slow going. Thanks for your patience!
