No I didn't - wonder why - I find it handy with my claims to see that time has passed since I claimed. Does it not have a date column or does the column just not change ?

It has a date column; the color of it doesn't change, so they just have to do the math. ;)

it really is the only column in the table, which has white background :-D
maybe to ease the admin view but avoid stressing out covermakers?

@monika i thought over it, but decided it needs a chipmunk pic, which i will look up when i have time for another cover.
(my new job, my housework, my cats...)
and now it is annes decision :-)

It was just an idea :) I am sure the covers will come out great in any way.

Hi Anise - I'm currently working on a cover for Plato's Republic, volume 1 - https://librivox.org/politia-1-by-plato/

Is it possible for me to preclaim the covers for the other volume(s) that I assume are upcoming?

Well - no . Because the preclaim system is based on the project number only and the project number is allocated when the project is set up. So the series claims depending on you asking when a project is set up or me remembering before the project is shown on the claims list and someone else claims it. I often do manage, but not always.

You might do better to talk with Rapunzilina as she usually MC's the Greek projects and may be able to work with you?

heyho,

i saw, we have a backlog in the claimslist at the moment.
never saw that many unclaimed covers...

i have to say: i will not be of help with working on that backlog, i want to focus on other lv possibilities, too.

is this worrying, or ok (and will get less as experience tells) or shall we edit our sigatures to make a sort of public call, or?

thx for your thoughts!

cheers,
