Greetings -

These Bailey books are just plain fun to listen to when you have a great cadre of readers like we do for this effort.

KIBBONAFIDE, jennlea, and Nedge combined their efforts to add eight sections to the coveted PL OK status. Those sections were 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 17, 18, and 19.

Chapter 19 brought back memories of cold winter mornings milking our two milk cows with Dad. He and I didn't do a lot of the "traditional" father-son activities, but I will match spending time alone with your father over a mug of warm milk against any of the common activities. Oh, yes, the name of one of our cows was...Sandy. Go figure.

Sandy gets tricked by Uncle Sammy Coon again but figures out a way to get revenge.

hsparent55 adds four more sections to the list of PL OK readings.

A few more sections and we will be done with the adventures of the loveable chipmunk.

I've released Chapters 11-13 since the new person has not been back and has not responded to several PM's.
I'd love to finish this for Feb.

That would be lovely, but here I repeat the same message I gave for the other new person who never came back. Let me know if you can follow through.

I would be happy to have you join this project, but first things first.
We do ask our new readers to complete a one-minute test recording to check out the technical elements.
In Point 2 of the initial post, please find the link to our Newbie Guide to Recording. You will find instructions for completing this recording there as well as a lot of other useful information.

Once you have the official "OK" on your recording, pleas post here again and let us know how you would like to be listed in the LibriVox catalog. Many of us use our real names, but you may choose any pseudonym or nickname you wish. This how you will be credited for all of your LibriVox projects.

Meanwhile, I'll reserve these section for you for a few days.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The status of Chapter 1 has been changed to PL OK because that is exactly what it is.

Well, I may get my knuckles rapped, but since the second new reader hasn't responded, I'll put you in for these.

I have just launched the first in a new series of children's books by David Cory that I think will be quite enjoyable, and our new readers are invited to participate. Little Jack Rabbit's Adventures viewtopic.php?f=28&t=74050

thanks! cool, that sounds great!

I just realised on the first I uploaded I misspelt file name-oops.

Anyway, have uploaded it again and here are the other 2, which if PL OK, makes this project complete!

Thanks!

I didn't catch that in Chapter 11, but I do see the mistake in the Chapter 12 file name -- a double "i" in Chipmunk.

Greetings -

The three remaining chapters of this effort - Chapters 11, 12, and 13 - are now safely ensconced in the Chamber of PL OK Readings (commonly known as the MW).

I will miss the intrepid Sandy Chipmunk. They are always fun to watch scurrying around campsites even though you have to make sure everything is impervious to their inquisitive nature.

Nice job, readers, one and all!
