There were two worked out math examples in the chapter. I could not find a decent way of reading them, and as they are summarized in the text I just left them out (except for giving the answer to the first one - the 161 1/3 value)

Yes, I see how those calculations are hard to read! I am fine with you leaving them out as long as Carolin is too.

1:02 – heard “combination” text says “compound”
3:02 – heard “sorting” text says “ordering”

CHALLENGE:
While the project table identifies this as "Section 13", in fact the section TITLED "OF THE DIFFERENT PROPERTIES OF MALT, AND OF THE NUMBER OF ITS FERMENTABLE PARTS." is SECTION 12 in the actual text !

I will begin preparing for the section titled "OF THE DIFFERENT PROPERTIES OF MALT, AND OF THE NUMBER OF ITS FERMENTABLE PARTS."

Hi Mark, welcome to librivox and to this project!

I have a couple of organisational notes for you

1. You are right that section 12 of the text is section 13 in our project. Thats because when you actually count the sections of the book, your section is really 13 (the technical terms dont have a section number in the text). You will encounter this often, as we dont have quite as much freedom with the magic window as we'd have with printed books.

2. Please always wait for the okay on your claim before getting started! This way, there is no risk of a double claim, which happen sometimes because the book coordinator cant be online 24/7 of course

your claim will usually be answered within a day (but take into account that all volunteers are sometimes not available for a day or two, and that we are all in different time zones).

3. How long is the recording (mm.ss)? Please remember to always post the duration of a recording when you post a link so that i can update the magic window
