Here is section 28. I fear I prove yet again to my disgust that I am hopelessly mono-lingual....

I was inspired to read this section by reading Natasha Pulley's recent book "The Bedlam Stacks" which (highly) fictionalizes the attempt to get quina-quina seedlings and smuggle them to India.

Natasha also mentions in her acknowledgements Clement R Markham, whose (very long) book on spreading quinine trees the segment in this project is from. I had thought about us reading Markham's book back when I read Natasha's book, but found Markham too dull for a passing listener and full of words I at least could not pronounce. I might revisit that now...
