Welcome to LibriVox. Prior to recording please see the Newbie Guide to Recording and pass a preliminary technical test to ensure your settings are correct. Once you pass that test please come back and let me know what name you would like to have listed for the catalog.

Alright, thanks for responding!

I used the link you posted and read the material there, but I did not see any kind of test. I have, and am familiar with Audacity, but I don’t see any kind of test in the link. Am I missing something?

Follow step 2 for the "Preliminary Test". Once you have the test file ready, post in the Listeners Wanted Forum. viewforum.php?f=21 Someone will take a listen and confirm your setting are correct for LV.

How are we handling footnotes in this project? Section 1 has a footnote on the uniform worn at a certain orphanage, which is kind of interesting but disturbs the flow of the story. Section 13 has a footnote to the title defining "Ouphe," which might be helpful, and section 14 has a footnote defining "hookah," which seems unnecessary.

Bad weather here again, I'm afraid. I think it only fair I let Section 6 go back in the pot. It was such a cute story, though.
I had a blast with these Alice chapters! :9:

Since I had not specified it's up to you. PG made it so easy by embedding them within the text. If I were the reader and since the story is for children I would include them but I won't make you if you would rather not.
