Great - thanks. Not sure how long it will take me to complete it but will get started asap.

I'll go with James Tute but don't have any relevant links to add for now.

Thanks again,

J

Great! You've got a default deadline of 2 months, so there isn't a major rush. :)

Here's your catalog page: https://librivox.org/reader/13077
You can keep track of your assigned sections there. (Click on Reader section details to see each section.)

To get to this link yourself, use your name in any Magic Window in which you have an assigned section. Open your name link in a new tab/window (if you click on it directly, it opens right in the Magic Window). ;)

I'd also like to claim section 6, to finish off this James Bryce chapter.

I've put you in for section 6. 8-)

Section 5 is OK, aside from the somewhat loud background noise. Your previous section didn't have it. Could/would you run a pass of noise reduction on it?

Hello - I've just uploaded a recording of Section 1 (possibly uploaded twice by mistake, actually)

Section 1 (24:56)

I realised I'd forgotten to leave five seconds of silence at the end. Here's a new version...

Section 1: 25mins

I would love to do sections 7 and 8 if possible.

Section 1 - nicely read, thank you!

9:52 - "Governments differ as to the use..." This entire paragraph is repeated at 10:37-11:21. Either portion can be deleted; they sounded identical to me.

12:27 - "It would be impossible for me..." repeated at 12:32

Please add 5 seconds of silence to the very end of the recording. This is a standard on all LV recordings.

I suggest editing from the back of the recording to the front. That way the time stamps will not change when audio is removed. :)

I'll put you in for 7 and 8!
