Yes, I'm the MC.
Do you know how to enter the information into the Magic Window? The link goes in the "Listen URL" field, and the duration in the Notes field, then mark the last column as Ready for PL.

Hi: I filled in the magic window, yesterday it wouldn't let me in, but seems ok now. I put the time as 1:02 not sure if that is right, it is I hour and 2 mins. Do you want a word count?
First part in the works
Thanks

If you got a "permission denied" or "you don't have permission to enter this" message before, it is probably because you were logged in to the uploader using the generic/LV login. If you use your personal login for the uploader all the time, it won't give you that error when you try to access your Magic Window. (The uploader and MW are all the same system. The generic login is for those who don't have a personal one; we don't bother giving personal ones for folks who are only going to upload sections but never access a Magic Window.)
No, word counts are only for the benefit of the reader, so unless you yourself want them, they're not necessary.
1 hour, 2 minutes can either go in as 62:00 or 1:02:00. Otherwise it looks like 1 minute, 2 seconds. I use the times to make sure the files transferred over to archive.org correctly at cataloging time, so I do need to know the seconds, too, or else it could cut off 45 seconds' worth of recording, and I wouldn't know.
Make sense?

Just some small points: this needs to go to section 2 in the MW.
And it needs the disclaimer
(at the beginning). And at the end it needs :"Chapter One of John Thorndyke's Cases by R. Austin Freeman. This LibriVox recording is in the Public Domain. The Man with the Nailed Shoes, Part 2
Oh, and it failed the checker. The checker says the bit rate should be 128kpbs, and it should have a constant bit rate, rather than a variable bit rate (whatever that means).end of Chapter one, part two (or maybe: end of The Man with the Nailed Shoes, Part 2 -- Tricia will know).
I haven't listened to it yet, so you may want to wait before making the corrections until I've listened to the whole section. I just thought I'd let you know, because you need to observe these things for each section, and it's better you know now, before you have to make these corrections for future sections.

I fixed the magic window "put in the wrong section" thing.
Alondra - do you know how to fix the bit rate?

Hi Thanks for fixing stuff, my fault I knew that was Chapter 2!! Yes will amend as requested and I did export at 128kb but will watch and see what happens when I export Chapter 1. Yes I can fix that.
Sorry forgot to put it through Checker, I have been away for so long forgotten all the little things and have been using another checking system.
Thanks TriciaG.
All will be well at the end. Thanks

Here is Chapter 1 both parts. I have passed Checker apart from the length which I am assuming no longer matters, as these are both slightly over the one hour mark. I have added disclaimer, anything else I have missed I am sure you wonderful people will pick up.

Hi Alondra. Great story, wonderfully read (and I LOVE John Thorndyke).
A few things for your consideration (meaning all I do is point out things I noticed. What you do or don't do about them is entirely up to you.):
Chapter 1:
0:33 -- missing article.
2:34 -- odd noise (possibly from editing?)
1:00:35 missing: end of ...(The man with the nailed shoes, part one).
I would suggest you add the 'part one' bit to your disclaimer at 00:27
Chapter 2:
1:02:05 -- word (relief) missing (there is 3 sec. of silence instead).
