Did you know that Ms Crompton wrote 38 William books? All but three too recent to be in public domain, alas.

38? That's a ton! I may have to go check out some of them... a bit hesitant to though, they all make me feel so bad for the Browns! If they're anywhere near as good as this one though, I'll have to look at them. I'm really enjoying this book!david wales wrote: ↑February 8th, 2019, 11:40 am Did you know that Ms Crompton wrote 38 William books? All but three too recent to be in public domain, alas.
Speaking of Chapter 12, I knew it wouldn't be too long before William got himself in another fix, this one the worst though . Only one note:
around 7:10 to 7:13 there is a very loud banging in the background that makes it hard to hear the words. I'd suggest re recording it, just because it is so distracting. If you don't want to it shouldn't be too big of a problem as it's only for a few seconds, but it is pretty loud. Let me know what you decide!

Hi Campbell, If you find no corrections to be made, we are finished recording this book. Thank you for your help! (I was laughing so hard in the churchyard scene that it took me several takes to finally get it recorded without laughing.)

Hi Laurie Anne, I slightly edited that book description so be sure to use the latest version:
Fourteen more stories about William Brown. William is a mischievous eleven year old who is puzzled by the adult world, which is no less puzzled by him. The humor is gentle and pleasing in this 1923 publication. The series of books is better known in the United Kingdom than in the U.S

Unfortunately there were quite a few repetitive moments in the chapter that I wasn't quite sure if were intentional or not . I listed all of my observations below (and yes that churchyard scene was pretty hilarious )david wales wrote: ↑February 8th, 2019, 6:17 pm If you find no corrections to be made, we are finished recording this book
1:39 – repeat of ‘if’
5:09 – repeat of ‘I believe’
5:36 – I think I heard ‘and main’, which doesn't seem to fit in the sentence, not quite sure here
7:39 – repeat of ‘not’
15:05 – repeat of ‘thanks’
End (around 30:25) - heard 'Comptron' instead of 'Crompton'.
So close!
