:) Thank you for the impressive thoroughness of your proof-listening! I have one disagreement. To me it makes no more sense to say, “The Complete Works Of Artemus Ward Part 4, To California And Return by Artemus Ward” than to say “The Autobiography of George Dewey by George Dewey.” My earlier recording of a similar work uses the form, “The Complete Works of Artemus Ward Part 2, War, by Charles Farrar Browne.” Since there was a previous suggestion to forget about “Charles Farrar Browne,” I intend to proceed without mentioning an author except in the title.

Ok sounds great! I was just following the script in the first post! That makes sense though, and if it's been allowed before then I think it should be more than fine now! Thanks for letting me know!

Sections 1,4,5 corrected.

I believe KOR is the generally accepted pronunciation of "corps" so I did not change it.

Really? That's so cool! Never heard that before! Well you learn new things every day :D (this little fact is really exciting me for some reason, I think it's so cool )

Ok anyways, here are my notes:

For Section 1 it's more of a question. How strict are they about the 5 second at the end rule? It's right now around 4.5 seconds. I'll mark it PL OK because I don't think it should be a problem, just mentioning it in case it is :D

For Section 4: There is too much silence at the beginning, over the 0.5 to 1 second allowed time.

Section 5: Slightly too much silence at the beginning
6:06 - Still don't hear the words "The Revelation of Joseph Smith".

Quick fixes overall, much better! Look forward to hearing the rest!

Great! Loved those sections! Very adventurous! Only two notes this time:

6:35 - repeat of word “he”
18:24 - miss block of text beginning with words ”When this wicked rebellion first broke out..."

Otherwise sounds great! Looking forward to hearing the last section!

Thanks.
Sorry, I don't hear a repetition of "he" at 6:35.
The paragraph beginning "When this wicked rebellion..." is repeated in the text, obviously an error.

Ok, maybe it was my computer repeating he. And about the missing text, didn’t even notice that. Strange. PL OK then!

Here is the third chapter:

https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/artemusward4_03_browne_128kb.mp3 [22:24]

There is a duplicated paragraph in the text. I did not read it twice.

Thanks for the heads up! Still recovering from sickness and apparently my mind isn't processing very fast

Anyways, nice reading! Two notes:

For the intro, it looked like you did a portion of the long version. To keep consistent, I suggest you change it to the short version (underlined portion is the portion it should be changed to):
Chapter [number] of THE COMPLETE WORKS OF ARTEMUS WARD PART 4, TO CALIFORNIA AND RETURN by Artemus Ward. This LibriVox recording is in the Public Domain."
If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
Only if applicable, say:
"[Chapter title]"

11:03 - heard 'here', text says 'there'

We're almost there!

Almost there! This is on me, but I didn't clarify: for the intro we don't need the "This is a Librivox recording". That is only in the long one. If you cut that out we should be good! THE rest of the intro is correct, and that other spot is fixed!
