  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://archive.org/details/voicesofnightoth00long/
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): special, Please follow along with the text and note any significant discrepancies. Reader welcomes crits/comments.
IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Thank you, Lynnet. Looks good.

FYI, I'm not going to rush through this project, just take my time and record a poem or two as the mood strikes me. It will provide a nice break from the novel I'm about to launch. I may also decide to take on a fellow reader down the road, or open it up as a group project. Keeping it light and loose. :D

Thanks again.

Okay, Larry, here we go! Please, please let me know if I mispronounce any proper names, Latin phrases, or anything else. There were some unfamiliar words too, that I had to look up, and a couple of sentences that didn't quite make sense to me.

Next come the poems. 23 of them!
