Great job! Only one minor fix to do.

0:22 – missing from title - Ulysses S. Grant, December 1, 1873, part 1

Three cheers for Unconditional Surrender Grant!

Hello Owen,
I hope you enjoyed your holidays. It's good to have you back. MW updated.
Thanks so much! I did indeed -- I hope you did too. :-)

I had a question about the text: In two places within the same paragraph, there is a letter T in a word where I think it should be an R. My guess is that this is an OCR error, not detected because the words with T would pass spell-check.

"with the law to support it, it is condemned without a heating"
"condemning the wrong and upholding the tight"

Would it be all right if I read the last two words of those phrases as "hearing" and "right", respectively?

Aloha! Here are sections 8 and 9:
https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/stateoftheunion1869_1876_08_various_128kb.mp3 (run time 31:58)
https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/stateoftheunion1869_1876_09_various_128kb.mp3 (run time 26:38)

As always, please let me know if there are any mistakes to be corrected. I'll be on vacation and away from my microphone starting March 14, but I'll be happy to fix any problems up through March 13 or after April 1.

Thanks as ever for your patience, folks!

All the best,
~~Owen

Owen,
Very 'Presidential' sounding. Both sections are PL OK.
