[COMPLETE] With The Royal Army Medical Corps in Egypt - dc
I didn't realise (until I did a bit of background reading on the subject) just how prevalent this disease still is throughout the (sub)tropical regions of the world.
There is further mention of this condition in later sections of the book.
Thanks for PLing 7 - Section 8 now uploaded.
Steve
Dave - Thanks for PLing 10 - Section 11 now uploaded.
From this point in the book the author moves the narrative from the medics involvement in the war zone to cover the extensive medical and welfare logistics and processes that go to support and maintain the health and wellbeing of the troops and others involved in the numerous areas of the Egyptian Campaign.
I have to say that I am finding this part of the book really interesting as it details an operational area that I've never read about or even considered before.
I have also never had to consider how to get rid of 140 cubic yards (approx: 140 tons) of horse dung - A DAY! But, I can rest easy now that I know the answer to that little problem!
And even I would need a Guinness after sorting that lot out!
