Hello, I'm working on finishing my recording and am wondering if there is a resource to get the correct pronunciation of these names and words. Sorry if I missed this answer elsewhere in this thread. Thanks

Thanks for asking... and not that I'm aware of  They certainly don't roll off the tongue and I think we have all struggled. As far as I'm aware, you need to pronounce every letter -- which means when there is a string of vowels, rather than 'aaah', you say 'ah-ah' or 'ee-ah' or whatever the combination is. Just take it slowly and do your best. I can give you an extension, as you are working on it, but as this is the last section, I would prefer not to keep on extending. Thanks.

Hi, Thanks for the information. I've finished recording now I'm editing, it shouldn't take too much longer. I realize I'm the last one, sorry for the delay. Thanks for your quick reply!

Lynnet,

Sorry I could not get sections 1-3 done. I had completed some of these recordings when I came down with a cold. And, I have had continuous colds--no kidding--throughout this past year!

I'm now at the tail end (hopefully) of my latest one. Very frustrating, especially since I had wanted to be more involved with this project considering these are my ancestors- some directly. But, anyhow, "Life is a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get." Right?

Hopefully, I can get back to recording on Librivox soon.

Glad to see that you were able to get these sections done and can't wait for the project to be published. Seems like it's almost there.

Aloha,
Gloria

Sorry to hear it’s been “one of those years” for you. But not to worry here, life happens! And, despite rumors to the contrary, LV is not the most important thing

Your reading was outstanding!
You just need to do a little editing.
Pl note: At the end of your recording, please remove:
"End of The Legends and Myths of Hawaii, by King David Kalakaua. "
This line only gets used at the end of the book.

Great job! Keep up the good work.
Sweeeet!!! Thank you so much! Your encouragement means so much to me! THIS WAS SO HARD and I FINALLY did it! Woot! :D

Thanks for putting up with me. You've been so patient! It was a long hard chapter for my first, but I learned a lot.
