Here is chapter 5

https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/discoursesonlivy2_05_machievelli_128kb.mp3

duration 6.18

I am afraid i have been having great problems with computer, recording and sending !!
This recording seems to start in negative time when I begin recording and I have no idea how to correct that so that I start at zero time also my recording setup is plagued with static and having moved to a lapel microphone which seems to have fixed that problem I now can only record at very low amplitude and therefore have had to adjust amplification greatly which may distort the final product.

Please tell me if there is anything to correct and how to do it - I would appreciate any assistance. It has been an extremely frustrating start to the new year.

Which software do you use for recording? Audacity?

The low volume could be due to a low gain in the microphone. Which exact model do you have?
I enjoy reading, and I want to constantly improve. So please, do give me feedback on my tone of voice, my emotion, everything. It's helpful and it's appreciated.

Oh, Jennifer, I feel so sorry for your bad experience! I know how frustrating it is, there was some time in the past when I was battling a setup as well. I suggest you post a thread on the Need Help forum, there are so many experienced people here at LV, someone will be able to help you!

Thanks for the recording!

Hullo, something's come up and I'm afraid I'll have to relinquish my sections.

Very sorry, and good luck with the project!

PL NOTES:

SECTION 05

Just one thing here. The volume should be between 86-92dB, optimally at about 90dB. It is a little high at ~93.6dB. Great reading!
