Good-Bye and Keep Cold
Thanks! It's 7* F on our front porch, with a wind. And I get to go to the medical clinic. Yay!

Tricia, I'm just across the lake from you. It's 15 degrees Fahrenheit here, (I guess that's about 8 in Celsius?), snowing steadily, and windy. I'm going to a friend's wedding. She has scheduled the ceremony to be held outdoors in St Joseph's Park, which is going to be very [brr] 'seasonal'! Well, it'll make an interesting story for retelling on anniversaries! (Fortunately, the reception is indoors!)

Here's Section 9 - Wild Grapes - (length 6:18)
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/newhampshire_09_frost_128kb.mp3

(A great personal favorite! Reminds me of my sisters and me, picking tiny sour wild grapes from the vines that grew along the fences and telephone poles along the back edge of the hill behind the elementary school, many years ago!))

Ah! Yes, a very nice poem! So, no big brother to push down the birch tree for you? :)

2:24 - "Here, take a tree-top, I’ll get down another." I hear "I'll go get another" - not sure if the meaning changes enough to fix. What do you think?

Nope, nary a brother, we were an all-girl family. But we were as the poem says "little boyish girls" who liked to climb trees.

For prose, I'd say the line was near enough to make no difference. But for poetry, I want to get every word right, so it's worth re-recording that line.
(The trouble with reading poems known by heart is that our eyes skim over the text and our mouth fills in what our brain thinks it remembers!)
Anyway, here's the corrected file - (length still 6:18)

Here are my three short ones.
The others are recorded, but my editing session was interrupted.
I'll try to get them done tonight. Working from home since we're expecting another storm.
