Nice job correcting the volume! It's right where it should be now!

However, it looks like, in changing your settings for volume, you also accidentally changed your bit rate, because it's now 192 kbps, whereas it was correct the first time. :? Bit rate is set when you export your file into mp3 format. Pull up your recording one more time in Audacity and go to File>Export. Before you click Save, check out the settings under Format Options. Make sure the following options are selected:
  1. Constant
  2. 128 kbps
  3. Force export to mono
Then click save and upload one last time. That should do it! Post your new link in this thread just to be sure. (Don't make a new one. It's better to keep things all together.) You're very close! :D

OK in the words of Eliza Dolittle, "I bet I got it right."

Well, if I had been doing it properly, then what was you sniggering at?

 Sorry, I can't resist a My Fair Lady quote from time to time.

You did indeed get it right! Thanks for plugging along. You're all clear to begin recording for whatever you find that interests you!
