Thanks TJ, just one pronunciation correction please. As this book is set in England, I'd like the English pronunciation of the name of the river "Thames" which is "TEMS" (hard "T" please, short vowel, one syllable).

I loved the laughs and sighs - one more sigh where indicated in the text would be even better! That's in the line before she says "time for bed", when she's reflecting that not everyone is always friendly.

Ha! I actually knew how to say the river Thames once upon a time, though I've never been to England. I was actually contemplating trying an English accent for this part (I've attempted it before here at LV), but I was afraid I couldn't keep it up over so many chapters. My daughter Jasmin can do English as well -- she can do a mean Hermione Granger imitation, but in the end we both decided to go American to get it done quicker...

I'll make those changes and re-upload.

Chapter 2 has two edits, otherwise, its PL OK:

18:41 - 18:43 : The line " Quite poor now" can be cut out, because it is read by Mother
6:11 - 6 :14 : Long pause that is not really required.

Great job in narrating!
