Section 23 - great reading! Very pleasant to listen to! I would mark it as PL OK, but there is a tiny thing: at the very end, you say "End of PART 23". I think it should be "section". I don't know how important Carolin thinks that is, so I guess we should wait for her opinion on it, but other than that,

:) Part/section/whatever: New link with the end fixed:

Steve, I am marking this as PL OK. At 10:17-18 there is a noise, like something fell. It is clearly audible, even though not too loud, so I feel you don't have to fix it if you don't want to, but I thought I should mention it, in case you do. Other than that, great reading, and I found out I don't know much about Joan of Arc, and that I should know more because it was quite interesting!
Ha! I missed that somehow. Good spotting. Here's the file again, with that "clunk" silenced:

Thanks, Steve

Would you like me o take section 26 ? That would complete the book . I thought I had already made this suggestion but don't think the message got through as far as I can see. Not surprising - I have been having " interesting times" as they say - with the computer.

Cheers

Here is chapter 26

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/famoussieges_26_jenks_128kb.mp3

duration 29.09

I was not sure how many seconds to leave at the end - it used to be 10 but I seem to remember that being revised down to 5. I have left only 5 but can easily add an other 5 if required .

Cheers

Jennifer

Thank you!

Weve ditched the different end silence rules. It is now slways 5 seconds no matter how long the recording is :) thank you!
