awwww, he is such an old dearie :9: Love the voice you're giving him, Craig. The upright, honest, but bumbling innocent. Nicely done. And no errors so far, so two scenes are PL ok again.

Thanks !

I loooooove Trinculo's accent. And it's hilarious when you are playing drunk. Did you practice this part in the pub ? ;) Excellently done, Craig.

Poor Gonzalo really sounds a bit like a naive simpleton  Somehow very endearing.

Gonzalo 3.3. and Trinculo 3.2. are already PL ok

I found a repetition in the other two files. Is there one version you prefer ? If so, then please delete the other. Or did you want to keep both to let the editor choose later on ?

Gonzalo 5.1.
> at 1:36: repeat of “Now, blasphemy, That swear’st grace o’erboard, not an oath on shore?”

Trinculo 2.2.
> at 2:55: repeat of “O Stephano, hast any more of this?”

Thanks

Sorry about that. If it's OK, just let the editor use the one he prefers.
Try and get some more up later.

Bumped into a couple of spirits in the bar, so I got them to record this for us.

 it actually took me a heartbeat to understand the pun. Thanks for these. I think that means all your parts are in, right ? Will PL them tomorrow morning.

Welp, looks like it's all down to me. Fortunately it's only three characters, not six or seven. And I managed to do one this evening:

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/tempest_ferdinand_3_1.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/tempest_ferdinand_4_1.mp3

Yeah, Ferdinand is not exactly the most dynamic Shakespearean character. I guess he's more interesting onstage, when he has liberty to weep (something that's hard to translate in an audio production).

I also recorded my Burthen. Since Craig went first, I guess we'll scrap the original idea to whisper those lines mysteriously, and instead do something more operatic.

 I absolutely loved the high pitched prim voice of Iris. And there is a very cool reverb, not as much as mine but still noticeable, as if you spoke from the bottom of a pit maybe. Cool effect. And the slight giggle was simply a treat. 8-)

I hope you haven't put away your falsetto yet, because you forgot quite a few lines ;) Iris shows up a bit later still. Can you add those lines at the end of your recording please ?

"You nymphs, call’d Naiads, of the windring brooks,
With your sedged crowns and ever-harmless looks,
Leave your crisp channels, and on this green land
Answer your summons; Juno does command:
Come, temperate nymphs, and help to celebrate
A contract of true love; be not too late."

and

"You sunburnt sicklemen, of August weary,
Come hither from the furrow, and be merry:
Make holiday; your rye-straw hats put on,
And these fresh nymphs encounter every one
In country footing."

All the other parts are PL ok.

Thanks !

 well your weeping scene at the beginning is quite well conveyed. True, he is only "the nice guy" but still you make him interesting. And I think I detect a tiny bit of a lecherous undertone (as far as Ferdinand can go  ) in the sentence "If a virgin..."

And in the chess-playing scene, your giggling makes him sound like a nitwit  those two are really such innocents (it's almost hard to believe)

well, you could have tried bringing in a sort of growled whispering. I think one high pitch and one low pitch merged together would give a good effect. One could try. :hmm:

But everything is PL ok.

I have only one note for Scene 3.1.

> at 3:17: “A thousand thousand!” – you say “a thousand times”, since I’m not really sure what he means, I don’t know how much of a meaning shift this is LOL might be optional

And this means Scene 3.1. is ready to be assembled. Since I'm the only one that is totally finished with recording, I claimed that editing job for myself. I probably do it over the weekend.

Tomas just let me know if you want to redo that one line.

My voice is finally back to normal, so I'll get my final Prospero scene done in the next day or so.
