Thank you Mark for your encouragement. Heading to Florida for a couple of months but will look forward to a new project when I return. Barbara

Oops, I meant chapter 6! I was uploading a few chapters yesterday and must have gotten the numbers mixed up!

Ch.6 repeated "Elizabeth ... occasion" at 23:45. Also, the Checker reports a unacceptable level of the background noise (50+ dB), though I don't hear much... :? Would you please look into it. Thank you!

I took out the repeat, but nothing came up in the checker the first time or this one, so I am not sure what to do with that. I did the same level of noise cleaning that I always do and the other chapter I recorded that same night is fine...
any thoughts jo?

I can take a look, but I would always defer to human listeners over Checker when it comes to background noise :)

Thanks for your input, I listened to a few scattered clips earlier today with and wirhout headphpnes and did not notice any significant background noise.

Thank you, Tiffany!
Of course, if no one hears the noise, it is PL OK! I just wanted to double-check because 53 dB is pretty high, I don't see this from the Checker too often. Thanks everyone!

Here's Chapter 25!

The chapter is about 24 minutes.
Thank you, Daniel. I'll PL your recording, but please note the file technical parameters are not correct.
The file name should exactly follow the formula of the head post:
Save files as 128 kbps MP3
dawnofthemorning_##_hill_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case) where ## is the section number (e.g. dawnofthemorning_01_hill_128kb.mp3)
The recording should be in mono sound, not stereo sound.
The volume (73 dB) falls outside of the target range (86–92 dB).

These general rules are important for all your LV recordings! Good luck!
