Ok Dyefferson, I had a bit of time and I noticed I still haven't given you feedback on your section. First of all your reading is very clear to understand and very fluent. Well done there.
But before we can accept this section, there are a few things that need correction:
> first the
technical issues (which I already mentioned in your one-minute test) :
> your
bitrate is variable but we need
128 kbps constant. This can get changed while exporting to mp3. I remember you managed to change this in your test.
> the
volume is not loud enough, only 83.7 dB average, some parts are even softer. You need to
amplify with 3 dB at least (preferably 4) to get to a good average
> the
background noise is quite pronounced, I would suggest a round of noise-cleaning. I gave you the step-by-step instructions for that and the volume in your test:
viewtopic.php?p=1526500#p1526500
> all throughout the recording I can hear
people talking in the background, especially in the
latter 4 or 5 minutes this is getting very pronounced and distracting a bit from the text. Maybe have a listen to that part again and some sentences could be re-recorded where too many people are speaking.
Basically you need to be in a room that is shut off from outside noises, as much as possible. Or if there are noises, like passing cars, lawn mowing or TVs talking, you have to wait until they are done to continue recording. These noises are difficult to eliminate with simple noise cleaning
Please, if you re-record any sentences,
note down which sentences and at what time stamp they are, so I can do a Spot PL at those places. It will save me time to re-listen to it all. Each change you make to your recording, you have to note it down for the prooflistener.
> secondly there are
only 2 textual errors, for the rest you have done a word-perfect reading. Very good:
>
at 10:28: stumble and repeat: "em serviço
medico no hospital" - the stumble in "medico" could be
cut out
>
at 11:24: you forgot the end disclaimer "
Fim da seção 16"
I created your
reader page finally, you can find your section here.
https://librivox.org/reader/13000
Please make the necessary corrrections and then all will be fine with your recording. Give it the
exact same file name and reupload to the same project. And please always state the
length of a recording when posting the link.
Thanks
Sonia
