I am recording a solo project, Bulbs and Blossoms. What do I do if I want to make my own cover?

As a soloist you can preclaim it, I have done that. You need to read the first post in this thread to find out what you need to do, and once it is catalogued you can submit the cover and someone will link it.

Hi Emily and welcome to the covermakers group!

What Anne says holds, but let me expand a little:

- As a soloist or BC of a group project, you can claim your own cover. Just come here, tell us the name of your project (ideally the project number as it shows in the URL of the Magic Window) and we'll take care of that.

- Making the cover itself is not difficult (not really), but we need it to be in specific formats and with matching filenames for our catalog. This is all described in the first post in this thread. Have a look at it and ask if you are unsure. The most important thing is that the image you choose is public domain (just like your text).

- Once your project is completed (and not before that please), you can upload the four files for your cover to the COVERS folder on the uploader (make sure it's a single zip file) and post the link here. One of us will take care of checking and adding the cover.

And that's it.

As I said, if you have questions about this procedure, just ask - we now have a specil cover makers chat thread for this here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=64062
It's best to post questions there and keep this thread as a "work environment", so the completed covers don't go missing...

That's it again
Have fun!
Cheers, Ava.

Cover for Santa Claus, Kriss Kringle and St. Nicholas

Included in this zip file is a 2nd replacement for the CD Case Insert on A Key To Uncle Tom's Cabin. I found another misspelled name.

Reporting back for duty :D Thanks for your help Ava,
1Cover caught , and linked
Michele - we all make spelling mistakes I know , but with the file names an easy way to check that the cover files have the same name is to look at the order of the files you are zipping.
It should go
title_yydd.jpg
title_yydd.pdf
title_yydd_itemimage.jpg
title_yydd_thumb
If it doesn't, check your spelling - in this case you had santaclause for the jpg and a less gramatic gentleman santaclaus for the pdf. I fixed them up before uploading

preclaim made

If the book is finished, you can claim yourself - go to http://librivox.nl/claim/ login (same generic password as for the uploader), and claim away. :D

(max 2 claims per person in the list at the same time).
Cheers, Ava.
