If anyone else thinks I’ve missed their claim, please speak up... I’m proving extremely fallible at the moment

Hi Tracy
We do have some software called Checker, which was written especially for Librivox by the husband of one of our admins and is very good at giving the dB (it'll also pick up bit rate and a few other technical issues). It's free (my favorite word), safe (my second favorite word) and easy to use (my third favorite). https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker
Just remember our goal is 89dB, but we can usually tolerate 86-92.

Hi Lynne,
Thank you for your time on this input. I looked up Checker and followed the instructions. I used the MAC link, and was given the prompt that the download is damaged, and I was unable to open it. Just letting you know in case the creator wants to take a look...

I will try out one of the other dB checkers suggested in the Librivox recommendations.

Hi Blake,
Could you please check if the corrected file has been submitted; the problem still remains.

PL note: please increase the amount of silence at the end of the recording.
There should be ~5 seconds silence at the end of the recording.

Hello, Lynn.

I checked and I did submit the correct file. The silence is between 7:47 and 7:52 of the file. If you need, I can re-upload it.

Helen, try that. My error: Blake uploaded with the corrected file name, but I didn’t change it in the MW.

Apologies for the confusion. My fault. I could've just gotten it right the first time.
