I just checked and at least the first 12 files have the longer intro. If you decide to replace the longer intro with the shorter intro just re-upload the updated file with the same name as the original. The link are in the MW so I can download them using those links. The system renames the older original file and saves it just in case we need it.

Craig I understand from your message about the longer entry that I have a choice on whether it is replaced or not. What do you recommend?

Also I am trying to post my last 4 recordings but can't find my "Persuasion" listed on the Forum. It is the end of the book. Can you tell me how I can find it?

Not sure I understand your last question but...

This page lists all of the books where you are a reader, BC or listener.

This page is where you upload files to my folder.

As to changing the intros....With shorter chapters I definitely recommend the shorter intro. Your chapters are not short so then it comes down to how good the edits will sound to the listener. Sometimes it is better to leave things alone if the edited files are going to sound so different they interrupt the flow of the narrative.

Craig thank you for your reply. I was able to figure out where it was finally before I read your message, but I appreciate your help with this. I am not as computer literate as I would like to be and sometimes get a little lost. I also agree with the flow of the recording being important as far as the intro so I will leave it alone if ok.

I am posting the links below as I have always done besides posting on the admin site as I never asked if it was needed as well. I have enjoyed the project and will want to find a new one as I want to improve my recording skills as much as possible. Thanks for all your help and guidance, you have been remarkably patient. The recordings below all have the shorter Intro. JKG5

We prefer the book summary to be written by the reader (or taken from the book itself). Summaries from other sources may not be PD. Paraphrasing is acceptable.

00:00 Read "Chapter 16 of Persuasion" at the beginning of the intro (before the LV disclaimer).

Just need to edit #22 a bit and write your own summary and we can catalog this.
