Thanks Mark - that made for some pleasant listening for Boxing Day morning. There are a couple of small edits needed, but there's nothing major there.

Section 2:

0:28 Section title missing "Night 991"
3:17 Repeated phrase "Then he said to the stranger"

Section 3:

0:28 Section title missing "Night 992" - kudos on the consistent reading speed!
File name mistyped - this won't be a problem if you upload the new file with the correct name.

Thanks,
Paul

Sections 2 & 3 Spot PL OK

There's still a small issue that I should have picked up on the first time around but I'm afraid I missed - the file name should be arabiannightsvolume10... rather than arabiannights10... Sorry - my bad. I should have spotted that. As that's the only change needed, I think/hope the MC can probably rename the files at the server end so it's nothing for you to worry about. Tricia?

Good work!

Cheers,
Paul

Here is the re-upload of section 5. Instead of "section 5" I now say "Night 994". I also trimmed off some time from the beginning and end, and removed the "Thank you for listening" at the outro.

Thanks and I hope you all had a great holiday, whichever one you celebrate. :D

Thanks Mike. The intro is fine now.

I'm afraid we're still not quite there on the outro. As a reminder from the first post...
At the end of the section, say:
"End of Section [number]"
This bit is mandatory.
If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
This bit is optional.

Anything else shouldn't be there.

Sorry for the nitpicking, but stickler-in-chief is my role in this particular project.

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks Mark - good work. Just one small point:

11:50 Repeated phrase "And she cried the cry that needs must be cried".

No apology needed - even the most experienced of us slips up. That's why we have Proof Listeners.

Section 4 spot PL OK.

No probs. I'm afraid I noticed something important missing while you were away though - there's no night 1000! Fortunately, you're the only person to have recorded chapters after that so we don't need to chase large numbers of people to update their intro/outros with the correct section numbers. Alternatively, it might be worth seeing if endlessriver would be willing to include night 1000 in section 10 in which case no renumbering would be needed.

Sorry to be the bearer of awkward news.

Cheers,
Paul
