Liebe Claudia,

I've started cataloging and am getting a bit rate error on sections 5, 7, 13 and 25. Can someone check these sections with the Checker? (I'm away from home and don't have that installed on the computer I'm using).

i just wanted to hint to that thread there: it seems to be a wrong positive result from audacity (linux?) with newer versions of lame:
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=70999
but probably that is, why you were asking for the checker results :-)

Well, but if that doesn't seem to help because we cannot check properly :? I answered in that thread. I am using Ubuntu and so LAME 3.100, too.

more or less the opposite: checker checks properly, the homepage software gives false positives.
the files are ok and even upload to archive.org without any problems.

but: a big thank you for your hint, i will try to use soundconverter with my next files!
...i dont want to be the cause for extra work for our mc's....
maybe that is the solution i was looking for, but couldnt find any (which tested ok for our forum software)
cheers

Thank you all. I hadn't run into that issue before. Glad to confirm the files all check out ok and I'll move ahead with the cataloging.
