Brad,
As far as I was concerned there weren't any issues. You were on time, gave a solid reading, and made corrections as requested. In my book that's the definition of a perfect LV reader. If you would like to contribute more to this project I'd be glad to have you. :D

Now if the issues were on your end I certainly understand your not being sure if you want to take on more. These readings are far from easy.

In fear of missing the date, we are quickly approaching 2.5 years working on this project. 1790-1816 was launched June 19, 2016. We have 7 volumes in the catalog for a total running time of 52:44:43. Shortest project was 14.5 weeks. Longest project 42 weeks (Van Buren). We have had 4 MC's, 2 DPL's, and 26 readers with realisticspeakers contributing to each volume.

7 down, 1 in progress, and 19 to go. I guess it's too early to plan my LV retirement.

Thank you all for supporting this project!

Thank you all for supporting this project!

Two things: What do you mean by "missing the date"?

Second: WOOHOO! I get an honorable mention!!! My pleasure to work with you.

Missing the date...life gets busy and before I know it the 19th will be long gone and I'll have forgotten to post our updated stats. I certainly could have worded that sentence better.

Be careful what you wish for. Doing this for the living might take all the fun out of it.

May I claim parts 10 and 11?

Andrew Johnson 1868, parts 1 and 2, a fascinating time in history.

Linny,

Good ear, good catch.

Here is the corrected version with "mineral lands" at 39:14.

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/stateoftheunion1861_1868_03_various_128kb.mp3

Note: The fraction of a second difference makes the length now 58:55.

Thank you again.

I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday season and that 2019 is a "best year ever" for all of us.

This address by Andrew Johnson came about six months after his impeachment trial ended. He wasn't too happy with Congress.
