thank you for the added OOOh. But did you re-record it all once again ? :hmm: Thing is, your volume is barely audible, it's only 66.5 dB, 20 dB under the accepted minimum  What happened ?

I'll make a note for the editor in the MW so it can be marked PL ok, unless you want to amplify yourself and reupload. I would suggest +25 to get to the good average.

I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April

Barty for Chapter 23.

thank you, both are PL ok now. Barty is not the sharpest knife in the drawer is he ? I love the voice you're giving him, a bit sulking. I guess it's defense mechanism against the Dad-regime.

Thanks

Thanks Sonia - Barty has a hard life and doesn't mind letting people know :D It was small, but I enjoyed being Barty!

Tomas, this is wonderful!

You've managed to capture the sound and essence of Dave Rudd as he was played by Fred MacDonald back in the 1930s in the original movie films. (Fred was born in Scotland, but moved to Australia when he was four).

I'm on holidays starting today ... we're staying at home, so I'll be able to catch up on a lot of LV commitments ... and I've just finished recording and editing the Harcourt role for "The Country Wife". I'll sound-check and upload the five files in the next couple of hours, and will start work in the coming days on the rest of my outstandings, including Dad Rudd. Then I have to start assembling all the voice parts. First time I've done anything like that.

Many thanks again!

 wonderful character, Tomas. Well, I can't judge for the authenticity of the backwater accent, I let Chris decide that ;) but your drawl is awesome. I really enjoyed it, and I am curious how this will sound later on assembled.

All parts PL ok. Wonderful job. Now we're all waiting for Dad

Chris btw I cannot open your hathy trust book, so far I checked from the coloured document. But for the final PL job I wanted to use the original source to be sure all is as it should be. Would you happen to have a different link, maybe to Gutenberg Australia ? Or can you open the hathy trust book and send me the pdf ?

According to the MW "Young Regan" who appears in two chapters still hasn't been recorded either - so it isn't just Dad we need!

If you need a voice for Young Regan I can get one of my daughters to read it.

Dad Rudd's blood-pressure slowly begins to mount, prior to it spraying out his ears when he meets Lily's Mother.

Chapter 10 completed.

Beth, a reader for Young Regan would be great if the Chez-Elizabby Voice-Talent Agency can supply it. :D

We are away at the beach until next Friday, after that either Zoe or Evie will be keen to do it! Both are already registered here as readers - put it down for EvieMaria, I think. She's more open to playing boys!

 well I just had a listen to the first two chapters and it looks like Dad's blood pressure is fairly high already from the start. You will pop an aneurysm when you meet Lily's mother.

Good advice on Chapter 10: I had to decrease the overall volume with -4 before listening to it ;) you're exceeding the accepted limits here.

Other than that, an excellent performance, what a cranky old bastard. No significant errors found. Just a note on the voice credit:

> for the voice credit, did you want to include the whole description ? I think the other readers did that, so you would say "Dad, Rudd, Australian farmer". But no need to reupload, simply do it in one of the other chapters.

Both chapters PL ok. That means Chapter 10 is ready to be assembled :9:

Another note for Beth as the Narrator in Chapter 11, I found a missing line that was wrongly coloured:

> at about 2:30: missing line "he went on in explanation"

thanks, and Happy New Year !

Here's Young Regan!

In the end ZoeTrang was the one to read it (my second daughter) fortunately I don't think she knows what it means to "throw your sponge up"!
