Alright , ehm
Hello, i m Hichem from Algeria , i'm 21
so excited to join the community , i'm not English native speaker so i will read in my mother language which is Arabic ... i have several questions ;
1- Do i have to do the ' 1min test record ' since i'm going to read in Arabic ?
2- Are there many people here can understand Arabic , because of the listener step ( i mean who's going to listen to my records and give feedback )
3- Can i record different texts with different languages ( i can read beside Arabic , French and English )

thanks :D :D :D

Hello and welcome!

1. Yes, please do the test anyway. You can speak some Arabic in it rather than the suggested words. It's more for checking your microphone and computer setup than it is about what you say.

2. I think there are some Arabic speakers / listeners here. Not many, but someone will check your files. :)

3. As long as you can be understood in the language, you can record in it. Some accent is fine, but if your accent is too heavy, or if you struggle to read the words in a natural style, you may not want to record in that language.

Hope this helps!
