COMPLETE: The Topaz Story Book by Ada and Eleanor Skinner, eds. - jo
Hi GypsySon, thank you for recording that small section of Hiawatha. Since Foon already did, I think I will leave it as is so that we can wrap up this book. It was my first attempt at doing a group project, and I did NOT do very well.
That being said, I would love to get it finished, get the last few sections PL'ed, and have it ready for the catalog soon.
Foon, would you be able to PL? It seems that terrybenn is not around right now. I wrote to her a while back and got no reply. I would do it myself, but some of the sections are recorded by me.
This is a lovely collection with lots of great reading, and it will be nice to see it finished and in the catalog for all to enjoy.
Nan

Foon - Real life is getting in the way of LV, will be slow until all is back on track, please bear with me!

Here are a few PL notes to start:
Sect 4:
4:00-4:15 deep buzz in the background
Sect 13:
Uses the long LV intro/outro instead of the <800 words disclaimer
Sect 30:
Uses a mix of intros (mostly similar to long LV disclaimer) instead of the <800 words disclaimer
0:00-0:17 low background hum
Sect 45:
Uses a mix of intros (mostly similar to long LV disclaimer) instead of the <800 words disclaimer
I don't know if the different intros warrant a change.
Nan, you'll have to put it in the MW since I have no access.
Will try to do a few more tonight, or tomorrow. But now, I have to go do some dishes!

Alright, the dishes are clean. So here are some more!
Sect 46:
PL OK
Sect 54:
Long LV disclaimer instead of <800 words one, if you care to change it
0:28 Title is read as “Origin of the Indian Corn”, not necessarily something that needs changing, I just wanted to point it out.
Sect 77:
I don’t know if you want the author names read, but if you do:
0:23 missing “By Agnes Carr”
6:29 stumble “and Indian Summer came ru … running in”
Please include 5 seconds of silence at the end, there is now only about 3s.
The last section (25) will need to wait until tomorrow, sorry!

PL notes sect 25:
12:47 missing phrase
… coming with such gifts and honours to Her Majesty; for they wonder not to see us there, and will tell …
There is also a soft background hum present. It’s not too distracting, but if you’re editing anyways, might as well run a round of noise cleaning on it!

Okay, I've updated the MW. Hopefully thestorygirl, elizaswann, and livh are following this thread and will soon do those small corrections.
Thank you, Foon!
