[Complete]Five Children and It by E.Nesbit - lt
Thank you. Next time please put the new track length into the MW, it's totally fine but we need to make sure we have the right time in there.
Chapter 1 is PL OK! Doesn't even seem like anything was wrong with it, great work on the fixes, and perfect reading!

It doesn't need to be exact. The system gives the exact time at cataloguing. The time in the MW is a 'working' time: it gives the proof listener an idea they have to set aside an hour, or can get it done in 5 minutes; also if you say you have uploaded a 30 minute recording, and the file is 5 minutes long, we know there is an error somewhere (it doesn't happen often, but it has been known... even in one of my own files).
I didn't know that. Good to learn something new each day!
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
At the beginning of the recording you say "this librivox recording is in the public domain, recorded by bhavya" and then go on to start the chapter without saying "chapter 2, Golden guineas". It should be "Chapter 2 of Five children and it by Edith Nesbit. This librivox recording is in the public domain, recorded by bhavya. Chapter 2 golden guineas".
At 11:45 You say "our staying gasping at... Mistake, edit it like this." I'm guessing this is where you made a reading error and forgot to edit out your note to yourself to edit it. If you just edit out the "Mistake, edit" that would be great.
At the end of the recording you say "end of chapter" then a short pause and then again "end of chapter". Please edit one out and say "end of chapter 2".
There is 7 seconds of silence at the end, please make 3-5
I thought it interesting how they called breakfast, "brekker" in this book. I always thought breakfast was called breakfast
Good reading

I have a question. If a section is over 30 minutes, doesn't it need 10 seconds of silence at the end?

No. 5 seconds is fine
The rule was 10 seconds, because older machines would cut off the end of recordings. Modern machines don't. Although we know not everyone has the latest model (especially in 3rd world countries), since we tentatively changed the policy about 18 months ago, no one has complained so we think it's all good
Alright then, thank you.
Chapter 2 is PL OK!
