New here - introduction

HI everyone,

I have just signed up to volunteer for LIbravox, as I have enjoyed listening to a number of their recordings over the years.

I have always enjoyed reading and especially reading aloud.

In the past I have worked as a library assistant, and done volunteer shop work and helping people with their children, but have lots of spare time at this stage of my life, so would like to fill it by doing something useful such as librivox recording.

I also enjoy walking in the countryside, cross stitch, and baking.

I am married and live in the North East of England.

I hope Twisted Wave will be easy to use. This wiki article (https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test) will help you with the one-minute test. Especially, with knowing tech specs for the recording.

We also use Checker (programme) to make sure that our technical features are good to go before we upload the file for proof listening.
