I was looking for PD cover art and got a kick out of this.
You Dads know how this feels! :D

It's annoying when you find a great illustration and no one records a book you can use it for. I have a folder of images in search of a book :(

Yes, I'll have to start a folder for those too. What I was searching for is proving very elusive.
If you come across something along the lines of a "romantic sleigh ride" in winter around late 1800s, I'd be very grateful. :)

It's a good thing my kids haven't thought of this one yet (sled), b/c when it snows here there are often cacti underneath!
But Dad gets enough other time being a horse, tree, pillow, race car, you fill in the blank ____!

Living in a "Mediterranean" climate surfboards are more use than sleds :D - in fact, I've skied but never sledded. You might find one you are looking for in a vintage postcard collection perhaps

Something like this?

Not sure what its status is. It’s on Pinterest and I found it by searching “sleigh ride postcard” since so many vintage post cards are romance oriented.

Yes, I did see that one. But I’ve found something I think will do now. It’s a magazine cover from 1913. The links on my other computer. A couple warming up by the fire while ice skating. But thanks for looking too! :)
