I would be happy to have you join this project, but first, please read the Newbie Guide to Recording (link in the first post in this thread) and complete your preliminary one-minute test recording (instructions in the Guide). Once you have that done with an "OK," post again here, and I'll be happy to add you to with this section. Let me know if you have any question about this.

Go to page one of this thread.
The very first post contains all of the instructions for this project. Most of it is a standard template, but with specifics for each project -- where to find the text to read, the naming format for your recordings, the correct format for the intros and ending of the recording, the name of the MC (metacoordinator) which you will need when uploading files. It is a good idea to read through all of this.

In the middle of that post floats a separate embedded window which is actually named The Magic Window. and has its own scroll bar. This lists all of the sections of the project. You will see your name in the Reader column for your section, and the status as "assigned." You can click on your name there to see your catalog page. When you submit your recording, and post the link along with the file length here, then I will put the link in the MW and mark it Ready for PL (proof listening). Once the PL is done, it will be marked as PL OK, and a note will be posted here. If there are any corrections, it will be marked "See PL Notes" in red, and the notes will be posted here for you to check.

There is quite a bit to learn up front, but it won't take long before you'll have the routine down.

Something's wrong with the link to section 03. I've gotten a 404 error message on repeated tries with all three postings of it.
