Hello Beth

I'm afraid I'm going to have to hand back The Doctor. My situation has changed and I'm not going to be able to do this now. Sorry.

Good luck with the book!

Chris.

Thanks for letting me know - I'll orphan the part and I'm sure someone will want it!

All the best, and hopefully we will see you back when you have time for LV again! :9:

I'm actually looking for a male voice for this role - I'll go back to the orphaned roles thread and add that information. My fault for not mentioning!

Elizabby wrote: October 10th, 2018, 4:17 pm There is just one PL note for Chapter 4, at 1:07 could you please change the pronunciation of "Twopence" to "Tuppence" as the English would say it? It's an optional note for pronunciation, but since you'll be recording more anyway I'd like this to be consistent with the English setting.
Certainly! I wish I could give it all an English accent, but I'd butcher it with inconsistencies. :-)
Bobbie's chapter 4 has been updated and re-uploaded with a length of 6:03. Spot check at 1:07 for the word "twopence."

Thanks Hannah, Chapter 4 is now PL OK!

However, there is also one new line for Bobbie in the otherwise PL OK Chapter 5 which is the "said his English" line right at the start of the chapter. This is my fault, as I've changed the allocation of the speaker. If you can add it in to Chapter 5 that would be ideal, or the start of any other chapter you happen to be recording with a note on it - sorry!

Thanks, Beth; please tell me if I seem to have over-compressed. They sound okay to me, but the Audacity display makes them look a bit over-free of spikes.
