Hi Carolin,

Here is my recording for section 9!

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/meadowsprite_09_schottenfels_128kb.mp3

Thanks,
Cyre
Hi Cyre -

That was an excellent recording! I have 2 pieces of feedback for you -

1. At the beginning of the recording there needs to be .5 to 1 second of silence. You have less than .5 seconds of silence. This silence is needed for the compiling of the recordings.
2. At the end of the recording where it says "End of (Chapter)" people say the Chapter number at that time. So in this case it would be End of Chapter 9.

Other than those really small corrections, I really enjoyed listening to your recording - keep up the good work!

Thank you lynda!

I have changed the outro instructions to make them clearer.

Regarding the silence at the beginning of the recording, there is no minimum silence that must be added by readers. The instructions are basically saying that the silence at the beginning of the recording should not be too long. There is no reason to be counting milliseconds. Thank you!

Lynda,

Thanks for the kind words. Lately I’ve been trying to slow down and enunciate more clearly with the hope of shortening the amount of time I spend editing and re-recording. The jury is still out.
